Lead Pastor
Rich Villodas
Pastor Rich has served as Lead Pastor of New Life Fellowship since 2013. A Brooklyn native, he holds a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry and Theology from Nyack College and a Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary.
Rich is the founder and principal teacher of the New Life School of Formation, equipping leaders to live and lead deeply formed lives. He also serves as a speaker with Emotionally Healthy Discipleship, a global movement that began at New Life Fellowship and has impacted hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.
An award-winning author, Rich has written The Deeply Formed Life (2020), Good and Beautiful and Kind (2022), The Narrow Path (2024), and the 25-day Advent devotional Waiting for Jesus (2025). He regularly speaks and writes on spiritual formation, contemplative spirituality, justice, and the craft of preaching.
Rich and his wife, Rosie, live on Long Island, New York, with their two children.
