We want to celebrate with you!

We are a multiracial, intergenerational Christian church in Queens (New York City).  Every year, we come together during Holy Week and Easter to remember that Jesus died on the cross and rose on that third day. As a church family, we open ourselves up to the hope and transformation that His death and resurrections brings. We believe God will move in amazing ways and we want you to be a part of it!

Palm Sunday Service

Sunday, Apr 14 | 9am, 10:30am, 12:30pm

Palm Sunday is the final Sunday of Lent, the beginning of Holy Week, and commemorates the triumphant arrival of Christ in Jerusalem, days before he was crucified. Join us for a service featuring worship and an inspiring message.  We also have an amazing kids program that’s fun & creative for your children, preschoolers – 5th grade.

Good Friday Contemplative Service

Friday, Apr 19 | 3pm, 5pm, 7pm

Join us as we remember Christ’s suffering and crucifixion. Spend time in quiet reflection and prayer as we prepare our hearts for the coming hope of resurrection.  Special prayer centers will provide opportunities for you to pray, be silent, and wait on God.

Easter Sunday Service

Sunday, Apr 21 | 9am, 11am, 1pm

Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday. Invite your family and friends to one of our 3 services. Please note the time changes. Our 11:00am service will be available via Live Stream from the comfort of your home or wherever you have internet access at newlife.nyc/live.

First Time Guests

If you’re visiting us for the first time, welcome! We have a complimentary cup of coffee waiting for you.  Our service will include a dynamic mix of worship music, stories of transformation and an uplifting message. After service, we invite you to stop by our welcome center for a cupcake.  Our services do fill up quickly, so we recommend you arrive early to secure a good seat.  We have parking in our side lot for our first time visitors, but we do encourage you to travel by subway (M or R train to Grand Ave) or by bus (a Q60 stop is just one block away) if you can.

For Families

If you’re visiting us for the first time, welcome! We want your kids to enjoy their Easter experience, too.  Our kids and middle school programs are designed to be educational, interactive and fun.  On Easter, our kids gatherings (preschool and elementary) will occur during services (9am, 11am and 1pm).  Middle schoolers will be gathering at 11am.  For more information, visit our New Life Kids and New Life Students pages.
